LEAGUE REGISTRATION

Registration will take place on the website Jenoti.com by filling out the application form. Each tournament week on Tuesday, you will receive an email where the team captain must confirm participation in the tournament. If we do not receive a confirmation email 24 hours before the tournament starts, your team will be removed from the registration list.

Your team will be banned from participating in Jenoti-organized tournaments for 6 months if:

• You have confirmed participation but did not attend the tournament;

• You have provided misleading or false information in the application form.

CATEGORY DIVISIONS

Category divisions will be calculated based on the points from 8 tournaments, with the best 7 results being taken into account.

For example, if one team member is 25 years old and the other is 24, you cannot participate in the (18-24) category. This example applies to other categories as well.

• 18-24 (TOP5) (Born between 2000-2006)

• 25+ (TOP5) (Born in 1999 or earlier)

• BEST NEW TEAM OF THE SEASON (TOP1) (Participants who have not participated in any Jenoti league tournament)

• BEST LADIES TEAM (TOP1)

• BEST STUDENT TEAM (TOP1) (A team where both players study at one of the partner universities)

• OVERALL STANDINGS (TOP5) (All teams participate in this category)

PARTICIPATION FEE/DRINK INFORMATION

The standard participation fee for 2v2 tournaments is 18 EUR per team.

When registering, you will have the option to choose your preferred drink for the group matches:

• Beer (Standard fee)

• Mūrbūdu Cider (+2 EUR per player)

• Non-alcoholic drink (Standard fee)

• Strong drink + mixer (+3 EUR per player)

*Non-alcoholic and strong drinks will be divided into several categories.

*If an option is no longer available during registration, it means it can no longer be selected.

MAIN PRIZE

The following teams will win paid participation in the Austrian competition in 2025:

• 2 best teams from the overall standings category;

• 1 best team from the 18-24 category;

*A team cannot win 2 paid participations. For example, if a team wins first place in the overall standings and first place in the 18-24 category, then the second-place team in the 18-24 category will receive the second paid participation. The overall standings are considered first, followed by the category.

The main prize includes accommodation, participation in the tournament, and a "Welcome drink" at the Vienna competition for each participant.

DISCOUNTS

Discounts will be provided to universities with which a cooperation agreement has been signed:

10% DISCOUNT

• ESN (Erasmus Student Network)

• Turība University

• RISEBA University of Business, Arts and Technology

• Riga Business School (RBS)

• Latvian College of Culture (LKK)

The participation fee discount is applied individually; if one team member is from a partner university and the other is not, the discount will only apply to one participant. The discount will only be applied if the participant can present a valid document proving current enrollment at the respective university.

SCORING SYSTEM

The ranking results will be based on the points from 8 tournaments, with the best 7 results being considered. The ranking results will be published at https://www.bpong.lv.

FINAL AWARD CEREMONY

The ranking award ceremony will take place in December, with participants being notified via the WhatsApp group "Beer Pong Latvia." You can join the group HERE.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Once a team is registered for a tournament, the team composition cannot be changed. If the team composition is changed, the team name must be changed as well; otherwise, the team may be disqualified.

• Jenoti is not responsible for forgotten prizes. If a team does not attend the award ceremony, they will not receive their prizes.

By registering, you agree to:

• Being photographed;

• The photographs may be used in Jenoti publications;

• The processing of personal data.

TOURNAMENT PROCEEDINGS

The tournament will follow the group stage format, with the best teams from each group qualifying for the "play-off" games. The play-off round will follow an elimination format (if a team loses a game, they are eliminated from the tournament, while the winning team proceeds to the next round) and the BO3 principle (a team must win 2 sets for the game to be considered a victory). The play-off schedule will be available at https://www.bpong.lv/timer.

POINT ENTRY SYSTEM

• The winning team enters the results on a tablet provided by Jenoti during the tournament.

• The losing team ensures the result is entered correctly.

Point entry system for group matches:

• Points are counted based on the cup difference. For example, if the Jenoti team has 5 cups remaining and the X team has 2 cups remaining at the end of the game, the difference is 3, which should be entered for the respective result. This means that Jenoti has 2 points and X team should be left blank.

Point entry system for the play-off round:

• Points are not counted in this round, but the team that wins the BO3 match is entered as 1, and the losing team is left blank. Results are only entered after the game is finished.
